Users use fitness apps to feel good about themselves. Using the directed storytelling method, I wanted to see if users wanted an app that tracks progress and helps them learn about their habits in one place so it can help them gain more confidence in themselves.
“I'm currently using 2 different apps because I really want to log my exercise as well so I really wish there was a place I could do both… of being able to track calorie and also track the exercise that I'm doing” This statement from a user really caught my attention, there are many great apps out there to track your calories. or track exercise or even sleep. But what if there was a great app to track all of those things and even more.
In any app no matter how functional it is, if it's not aesthetically pleasing people aren't going to use it, so that's the question, how can I make an aesthetic but functional app.
But something wasn't right after reevaluating the affinity board. I came to realize the user wanted an app to make their own [how can we have all these categories without making it too overwhelming] so I implemented a (customizing features) to see information relevant to them. [insert customizing feature prototype]
By combing an activity monitor with a food log and a resource center plus many more features Users can now live a more convenient Healthy lifestyle thanks to my health and wellness app that lets you track, see your progress, and helps you learn more about your habits.
next, I would conduct more research on what people want and what people need and implement more user-friendly features. And conduct a usability test to see how the product is received and improves from the given feedback
