What I did

  • Completed a competitive analysis to collect data on what works on successful competitions.
  • Complete a site map and user flow to understand flow and mindset of users.
  • Created sketches and low fidelity prototype.
  • Created a plan and conducted usability testing to gain data and insight on how to make the product better.
  • Created a high fidelity prototype to be able to deploy a live site.

The Challenge

The only way right now for potential customers, partners, and sponsor to learn about the program, what they do, what they offer, and communicate to the owner is through Instagram if my friend wants to turn this program into a business they will need a more professional and secure way to promote what they offer to all these groups listed

Gooooooals

I want to make a website that shows the five W’s of the soccer program, and how to sign up and contact them starting from the ground up so the program will turn into a legit business that reaches more people than just Instagram users. And make it look more professional so they can possibly gain partnerships and/or sponsors and mostly gain new clients.

Prototype

During the competitive analysis, i found that what I need for my product was, Clear CTA to book sessions, pictures, and videos to show what they will do, a good color scheme, a short and to the point, clear way to find the mission statement and about us, a way to book sessions through the website, relevant information

During the usability testing, I found that by using “sign up” instead of “book session”, users wanted to see positive reviews, training, and training result on the home page. Users would like to see information about the coach on the home page as well as a tab for it. Users wanted to see a carousel of images on the “highlights” page

Impact

By using feedback from the usability testing and key design principles I created a visually appealing website prototype for a soccer training program where users can easily and efficiently discover what become a lion is and what they have to offer to help further inform their decisions.

Next Steps

The next step for this project would be to finish the prototypes of the user accounts and then have an actual website be made and deploy it live and keep in contact with the client to ensure smooth deployment.
